Mary Cruise born 1839 in Co wexford, moved to Dundrum (unknown year), as a widow
she had the following children
Ellen Cruise born 1885 (Packer)
Phelam Cruise born 1880 (General Labourer)
Patrick Cruise born 1876 (Van man)
they lived in Farranboley in Dundrum
I dont know Mary Cruises Maiden name, or what part of wexford she was from. That information would be a great help.

Cruises on 1901 census (http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/reels/nai003739061/)
The following seem to be good matches but will require verification by ordering certificates or by comparison to existing information
birth Patrick Cruise Rathdown 1878 (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FY15-D2N)
birth Phelim Cruise Rathdown 1878 (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FBQ9-ZYF)
Probably married 1913 and died 1957 (https://www.familysearch.org/search/records/index#count=20&query=%2Bgivenname%3Aphelim~%20%2Bsurname%3Acruise)
birth Ellen Cruise Rathdown 1884 (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FBHH-P6F)
Possible other children registered in Rathdown at that time: Peter 1863; Mark 1867; Edward 1875; and Michael 1881
Mary’s maiden name was Darcy and her husband was Matthew Cruise
I can’t immediately see a marriage for them
There is a death for a Matthew CRUISE in Dublin North in 1890 aged 50 which may be a match
hope this helps

thanks for that information, I will look into it.

Births for some children of Matthew and Mary are included in the extracted records on FamilySearch and one (Michael) has place of birth as Windy Arbour, which is in Farranboley townland, in Rathdown registration district.
see : Cruise / Darcy births (https://www.familysearch.org/search/records/index#count=20&query=%2Bsurname%3Acruise~%20%2Bfather_givenname%3Amat*%20%2Bmother_givenname%3Amary~%20%2Bmother_surname%3Adarcy~&collection_id=1584963)

If you search in the Dublin South part of www.rootsireland.ie you will see there ia a church marriage transcription available for Mathew Cruise and Maria Darcy in 1858 in Booterstown, Blackrock and Dundrum RC parish. Fathers' names are Mark and Phelim respectively. There are also 10 baptism/birth records available for children of that couple from 1861 to 1881.
