Title: marriage
Post by: digging up bones on Tuesday 19 June 12 17:53 BST (UK)
Hello again,
I am back on the trail of dear great great grandfather george smith!
I am trying to locate a marriage certificate for him and his wife sarah (edgeley)the first child born was lilian in 1881, so I am presuming a marriage about 1879/1880.
They lived in aston birmingham and I know sarah remarried after george died
I have his death certificate but that gave me know clues and george remains on the family tree quite sad and lonely without parents !  on his death cert she was named as his wife so I presume they did get married?  regards digging up bones
