Hello
I'm hoping that some kind soul(s) might be able to help me with the following brothers:
Ernest Albert SIMMONS born Jan-March 1894 Woolwich
Herbert Charles SIMMONS born April-June 1895 Woolwich.
I have found them on the census returns, (including the 1911):
Ernest Albert Simmons is age 17 - Barber's Assistant. Born Woolwich.
Herbert Charles Simmons is age 15 - Govt. Bookeeper, Ryl Arsenal. Born Woolwich.
I have been trying to find out if either of them ever married and had children. I may be doing something wrong, but I'm unable to find any leads.
Would greatly appreciate any help/advice. Many thanks.
Lesley.

Have you already discounted the 1920 and 1921 marriages for Herbert C Simmons

The London Electoral Rolls list an Alfred Ernest Simmons in Granby Road, Eltham in 1922, with a Frederick Simmons and a Florence Simmons (his wife ?) living only 2 doors away in the same road. Granby Road Eltham is less than 3 miles from Plumstead.
There's also an Ernest A Simmons born in 1894 who died in Lewisham in June 1922 (Lewisham Q2 1922 1d 1173). Lewisham is only about 4 miles from Woolwich.
