Post by: rachel on Tuesday 29 June 04 17:48 BST (UK)
I wondered if anyone could look up a Rev Edgar Cushing, who was born in 1880 in Norwich , He was a methodist minister, he was a part of the Wesleyan Reform union, around 1927, he preached up until he did in 1957. i wondered how you would go about checking this

Thanks

Hello Rachel, Edgar, according to the 1881 census was the son of Frederick and Alice  (LEEDER) who were living in St.Clements Road, Norwich in 1881. Frederick was born in about 1854 in Fakenham and was probably the son of George and Alice (LEEDER). There was also the family of John and Maria (MASON) in Fakenham. Both John and George were the sons of John and Ann (EDGE) and this John senior came from Thursford and figures on my Thursford CUSHING tree.
