Title: Rishworths of Whiston

I've managed to track family back to Joseph Rishworth of Whiston, born 1778, married to Rebecca Bartholomew and have hit a brick wall.  :(

Joseph cites his birth place as Whiston but I can't find any record of it. 

Am looking for any info on the family please.   :)

familysearch.org has a 1778 baptism in Hemsworth,matches 1841/51 census.
