Hi
I'm searching for information on Richard Sigerson (Segerson, or Seggerson), born c1886, in the City of Cork. In 1907, Richard, a general labourer, married Julia Fenton. In 1911, they were living at 1 Moore Street, City of Cork, with their children, Julia Sigerson (1911-), and James Christopher Sigerson (1908-1979). Any details relating to Richard, his parents, and his ancestors, would be very helpful.
With thanks

The marriage record will give the names of the fathers of both the bride and groom as well as the residences of the bridal couple at the time of marriage.
The online civil registration shows the following matching marriage references:
Richard Siegerson
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FYDL-33D
Julia Fenton
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FYDG-9Z5
In addition, there is one Richard Siegerson in the index born in Cork in 1883. Maybe that's your guy?

You can send the references to GRO and they can send back whatever is in the registry book. Details here:

Thank you, ballydw, that's very helpful. Are there any records relating to the siblings and parents, etc., of Richard Segerson (c1836-), husband of Margaret Segerson née Flynn?

Will keep a lookout for any records for Richard b.c.1836 but this time period is very difficult as the other researchers on site will probably have told you.
There is a death record for Richard Siggerson born SS Peter & Pauls Cork1883, as follows:
Richard Siggerson. Regiment No 4387. Rank Private. Royal Munster Fusiliers 2nd Batt
Killed in action France May 9th 1915
Take at look at www.cwgc site
There is an entry on irishgenealogy.ie for a marriage of
Thomas Segerson to Charlotte Lawlor 12/11/1789 Cork SS Peter & Paul
Children of above couple: Honora segerson 26/9/1791
Sponsors John Segerson & Tom Segerson
John Segerson 27/9/1790
Sponsors John Russel & Ellis Lawlor
This family may be connected to Richard Segerson b. c 1836 but I cannot find any evidence to prove. Regards
