Can anyone tell me who I need to contact to find burial locations in Perlethorpe cemetary.
I am planning a visit to the area shortly and am hoping to visit graves of ancestors buried there in the 1850's and 1890's.
Any help much appreciated.
Many thanks

Hi Sheenie
I have the MI's for Perlethorpe, St John. If you let me know the names of your ancestors I will check if they are buried there.

Thanks Carol
I'm looking for the graves of James Radley & Martha Chevins and their daughter Sarah Radley. Also their son John Radley and his wife Caroline Sheppard. I know that these 5 members of the family are buried at St.Johns and there is a headstone for John and Caroline but unsure if there is one for the other 3.
Just thought it would be useful if I could find the exact locations of the graves prior to my visit.

Hi Sheenie
I can only see this one
John Radley died 21 May 1897 aged 80
also Caroline Elizabeth
Nothing for any of the other names.

Thanks for this Carol - this is the John Radley and Caroline Elizabeth Sheppard I'm looking for. Didn't think there would be a MI for James and Martha.
Possibly the Nottinghamshire Archives may hold burial records for St.Johns so will give them a ring.
Thanks again

Hi Sheenie,
The archives wont have grave records or locations only the info that sunflower has given but if you got in touch with the church they may have a grave register.

Many thanks to you both - as you say Nottsgirl1, I need to see the grave register for the cemetery to get the info I am after.
Again many thanks
