Hi there,
I have a photo from the early 20th century of my g-uncle by marriage wearing some sort of masonic-style regalia. It's been suggested that I put the photo up here and see if anyone can clean it up more so that the insignia etc is clearer. I've already had a go -the orginal is very faded.
Thank you so much to anyone who can give this a shot:)
The most faded one is the original, the sharper, yellower one is the one I've played around with myself.

Gave it a shot but the photo is not good enough to get any definition up using my program - someone with a better program might be able to
Cheers

Is there any chance you can give us a better scan. This is only 200 dpi and a lot of detail is lost.
If you have the original rescan it at 300 dpi with no compression. If you have any trouble just shout

This is the rescan, at the highest quality I can get. I can't see a lot of difference to the original scan though tbh.
Thanks Mahalia, that does look a bit better, I'll scrutinise it and see if I can make out any more details :)
EDIT: Sorry it's so huge, I have no idea why it's so much bigger than the others!
