Hello
On FindMyPast, I have found some burials in Llanddewi. So have looked if there are any MI's, but cannot find anything on the net.
Genuki states that any Parish records are being held in Denbighshire RO, but not burials? Also, that this church closed in 1963.
So what happened to all the burials and headstones? Were they moved to another Churchyard or cemetery?
Any help given would be appreciated.

Which Parish in the Llanddewi area are you looking for? If you google Clwyd MI , you will see that Lee Wetton has photographed hundreds if not thousands of headstones from around that area and more. You will probably have to get in touch with him to get to see the photo's, via his web site but he always responds promptly .
Best wishes

Thanks for your reply.
The parish registers state Church Llanddewi.
I have been onto Denbighshire record office and they couldnt help me as they dont hold many records for this church, and suggested I contacted the Church of Wales.
I have been on Lee's site and looked through many photos of headstones for the area.

Do you mean St Davids, near Llangernyw?
That church was converted to a private residence years ago - there are a few headstones left. I think the rest must have been removed as it's mostly gardens and outbuildings around the church now.
I do have photos of the 7 headstones left....
