Title: Tandragee Cemetry
Post by: Heppy on Monday 04 June 12 11:51 BST (UK)
Could someone be kind enough to do a look up for my Great Great Grandfather Hugh Hall Cochran who died  in 1879 and is supposed to be buried in Tandragee Cemetry

I can't get anywhere with finding any record of his grave.

Please can someone help me on this one as I have been trying for about 8 years now to find his grave and perhaps what is written on his grave stone.

Thanks you and regards

Heather

Hello Norh,

Hugh Hall Cochran was a protestant, I think Presbyterian, but not sure.

I hope this helps. What are the names of  all the cemeteries in Tandragee ?

Thank you for replying to my question for help.

If Presbyterian you'll need to check both Presbyterian churches and Church of Ireland ones as well, Many families didn't erect headstones, the stones are illegible or no longer survive. Presbyterians buried in Church of Ireland ground may not be listed in the Parish burial register.
