Title: Herbert Denne - Elizabeth Watts

Hello
I'm looking for any information regarding Herbert Denne and Elizabeth Watts.
Herbert Denne was born in Dalton London in 1885, Elizabeth Watts Was born in Wales About 1886!!.
I have been told by a family member that they both worked together at Trentham Gardens before it was demolished in 1911. I am not sure if they ever Married but they had 5 children.
Herbert denne died in Stoke on Trent in 1966 after spending some time working in Nottingham, 3 of the children were born in Nottingham, Elizabeth denne or Watts died in Nottingham 1982.
Does anyone have any information regarding Trentham gardens before 1911 and how I could search for the names of staff that was employed  by the then duke of Sutherland.
I know this is a bit of a long shot but any help in this matter would be a great.

Elizabeth's death reg shows her birthyear as 1892

Elizabeth Denne born 9 Jun 1892 - aged 90
June qtr 1982  Nottingham Vol 8 Page 0996

There is no death in 1966 for him in Stoke as Herbert Denne - could this be him although birthyear is 1896?

There are no Denne/Watts births in Notts.  I suspect you are referring to marriages of the children in Notts

Freebmd has 4 Denne/Watts births

Looking at WWI records there is a Herbert Deene from Hornsey b 1884, a clerk by calling, in the East Surrey regiment - problem here is he married someone else in 1917 and they appear to be still  together on the electoral register in 1932

There is also a Herbert Fdk Wm Denne with a medal card for the Notts & Derbyshire regiment - no 10454

There is a Herbert Denne baptism on 8.6.1884 at Wood Green
Parents William & Elizabeth but I can't decipher William's occupation

The free 1911 index shows him still living in Edmonton with his mother and siblings
