Cool. I knew I wouldn't be alone. I have questions about the Moosomin south cemetery also. Have you come across any McGuirl people on your travels. hte census lady of 1901 changed some of them to a McGuire. I might be having some fun trying to track them down. I have names but I don't know how or if they are related to each other. John had a furntiture factory around 1886 ish. He had a som James. I just wanted to know what happened to the family and where they moved to when they left Moosomin or if the family tree ended there. His picture is in the Moosomin masonic Lodge. He made furniture for churches and lodges and for the Legislative assembly in Regina. Although they don't say it is his. So you know Moosomin at all or are you near here at all?? It would be nice to hear from you. Thanks, jh

Hello saskgirl...welcome to rootschat...Just a headsup to not make more than one posting about the same family...This is being discussed on another thread...Thanks! J.J.
Welcome to you as well, julesmom...
( P.S. I am from Sask as well) but now living in Manitoba and there were others, who seemed to come on casually then disappear...but they may return

Sorry about that. I think my problem is that I have e-mailed other relatives with my findings and then I can't remember what and to whom I have e-mailed my information. But I will smarten up. You'll see. jh

Of course you need time to learn, that is why I dropped an early hint...
A quick hint for finding your old threads...( Right now it is easy as you only have a few...so you can go to your own profile and peruse)...but to see if you have already mentioned the family on a thread just go up to search and enter the surname and your username... If you have tons there probably are too many... You can tighten the search by adding a forename...

Thank you Mista 99 for your hard work. I have this book as my father's family is in it also. So does RedMystic. See I'm not magical afterall. Mista 99 you worked hard in finding that info. I thank you a lot for that. I have a small note that says that Sarah is Jims sister. The Sarah I can find was 11 years old and passed awway years ago. This is the problem with doubling up on names. Sigh

Sorry if I wasn't clear Mista99, that there was already a thread on this subject....with duplicate answers as well... ( see what I mean SG??)
Please do not add any posts to this thread as it is a duplicate. Thanks

Yes I see. I think I will give up. I'm just getting everyone mad at me. Thanks for everyones help. You have all been fantastic with answers that I didn't have. jh

Well no need to give up...Just don't start more than one thread on the same subject, let everyone know basics of what you know about that subject and all should be fine. If you are frustrated, just imagine the person who has gone out of their way to do searches just to hear all that was known...
