Do MIs for kirkbankhead graveyard exist?
If so where?
-
I think Kirkbankhead was an alternative name for the Tower of Sark burial ground in Half Morton, and the MIs are published by the Dumfries and Galloway FHS, along with Half Morton burial ground. The stones in Tower of Sark tend to be older than those in Half Morton burial ground, most of whom date from after 1855.
hope this helps

Hi
I have the Tower of Sark and Half Morton MI's if you let me know who you are looking for I will have a look for you.

I am looking for an Arthur Bell who died 1858 also his wives Margaret Scott died 1833 to1837 and Margaret Cairns died 1842 to 1844.
Also any other parents or children. We only have a mothers name for this Arthur Bell which is Ann or Anne Park but no other information
Thanks any information would be helpful.

Hi annron
Thanks for your look up. I know the correct graveyard was Kirkbankhead (Tower of Sark) I had hoped that there would be some record of the Bells pre 1858.
Shame but thanks for your time.
