Samuel Head born 1864 , Ugborough, Devon, , was the son of John Head & Mary Ann Head ,nee Collins. I was hoping someone may be able to confirm John's parents, I think his mother may have been  Orange Head , nee ?

Orange Head that's an unusual name.  To clarify you are looking for Samuels grandparents?

There is a family tree that has Johns parents John and Orange Beare.

Some helpful soul; has put Samuel's birth cerificate on public display on Ancestry!

11th September 1864, son of John Head and Mary Ann Head, formerly Collins
Father a Farm Lab; Mary Ann was the informant, and made her mark.

John's father John Frederick was married to Orange Beare at North Huish on 28th May 1822, according to that Ancestry tree.
But no sources quoted to back that up!

John Frederic HEAD was baptised 14 May 1843 Ugborough parents John and Orange (lab of Bittaford)

John HEAD = Orange RYDAR 28 May 1822 North Huish
