Post by: jmg1414 on Saturday 26 May 12 10:46 BST (UK)
I have a memory going back to the 1950's of walking past a church in the Sebastepol area(I think) and stopping to look at the sign outside which read..St Willibrods or similar...Mum told me this church was where her family used to go...but search as I will I can not find this ...anyone help please?

not very like the name you remember but there's St Hilda's in Griffithstown, in the Sebastopol area. Looks to be a modern parish and the registers from 1888 are at the record office.

Genuki, a good source for parishes, has the church under the older parish of Llanfrechfa

il Try to attach a photo of St Oswalds. St Oswalds is on Wern Road in Sebastopol. The only other one i can think of would be  The Penry Chapel on South Street which is the Main road. Its a hill and the Chapel would be on the Left hand side as you go up.
