i am trying to find the death of my grand uncle walter andrew who was born in 1890 in hull ,his parents are frederick andrew and rose hannah slater ,but am not quite sure if he died   in the war in 1917 in france  ??? ???

It looks as though Clara remarried to a Mr Kirkby after she was widowed:

Walter's military records show that he married Clara on 25 December 1914 at Holy Trinity, Hull, and that they had a son, Frederick, born Hull 28 November 1915.
