Hi everybody,
I have a census for 1911 and its states 1 Royal Street, i cannot find the street now and know it has probably been knocked down, but i was just wondering if anybody knows where it was/is located? the sub district is given as Bradford Central. Hope somebody can help.

Hi, I seem to think that it was off Mount Street, but not being a local I cannot be certain, I just seem to recall an old rellie from Bradford, living in Royal Street many many years ago!

It's on the Alan Godfrey 1906 map of Bradford: heading away from the city centre, turn right off Mount Street into Jackson Street, and Royal Street is then the first on the left, running parallel to Mount Street. It's quite short - it only goes as far as Collier Street. (On a modern map Collier Street appears to have been renamed as a continuation of Mulgrave Street, which the old map shows going from Leeds Road to Mount Street and no further.)
