Help please, My GGGrandfather Albion Banks b1860 married Dec quarter 1885 9c 610 Rotherham. I can not find details of who he married as there are two possible people listed as his spouse. Could anyone help me with this please

The two possible brides are Rose Hannah Bingham & Hannah Henstock and the other groom is Henry Ellis.
In 1891 Henry Ellis and Rose H Ellis are together and Albion Banks is with Annie Banks who was born in Newark, Notts. Checking the 1881 census Hannah Henstock born in Darlton (not far from Newark) is living in Sheffield with her parents so she is probably the right wife for Albion but the only sure way to confirm is to get the marriage certificate.

Is that the one registered in Sheffield? Can't see a Rotherham one.

Sheffield reg district is adjacent to Rotherham reg district, so it's hardly a huge distance. Likely they married in the bride's parish as most couples did.

FreeBMD has it as Sheffield rather than Rotherham, and 1885 rather than 1895:

The underlying scan of the GRO index is consistent with this.
