Title: Manchester Road Address decipher needed
Post by: Mrs Dalloway on Friday 11 May 12 18:06 BST (UK)
Hi.  Can anyone help me figure out this address please?  Not sure if it is in Scotland... or in Manchester.  Maybe someone close to the area might recognise it?
Thanks, Clarissabell

I think it reads "cemetery road" "Manchester Road" "Droylsden"

Photo of Cemetery Rd, Droylsden

If you put the address into Google maps you can view the house. It doesn't look very old.

I wonder if the other pencilled entry of 63 Cornwall St, Higher Openshaw, Manchester, might be the address to where his medals had to be sent (about 1922).

Thanks a million Colin for that insight.  How interesting!  Something else to think about.
