I was looking for an Elizabeth Warner on the 1861 census. In 1841, she was age 40 and married to Thomas Warner, living at Thomas Street, Salford. They had a number of children from their two previous marriages and their own marriage.
I was really looking for where Elizabeth was born. I'm assuming somewhere in Lincolnshire because that's where they came from but I'd love a place name.
Thanks :)

by 1881 elizabeth was not at the 1871 address but the other 2 sarah and robert were still there
elizabeth had probably died by then

Thank you so much Woozle!! I had no idea there had been another Warner after Robert. lol I'm hoping to get Roberts birth cert. so I can get Elizabeth's maiden name.
Do you think Wyebuster could have been been transcribed wrong and was actually Wyberton?? Guess I'll have to go back Lincolnshire way and look at the maps.
Elizabeth was my 4x great grandmother. My line comes from her marriage to a William Booth. Where on earth did the name Arespin come from??
-
Yes,
The image for 1861 looks like Wyeburton so Wyberton would be a good guess. Arespin I think is Crispin

Hi on the missing 1851, they are shown as WARRENER, and it has been transcribed from one of the water damaged returns by the Manchester & Lancs Family history society, Census Ref HO107/2223/0/0 Elizabeth's birth place has been transcribed as Weverton?
In case you cannot locate via the census return, here is the 1851 transcription:-
Thomas Warrener 60 occ Cordwinder J'yman b Spallinder
Elizabeth 50 b Weverton
Robert 11 b Salford
Crispin 7 b Salford
Sarah Booth 23 Stepdaughter b Spalden
John Catterall 25 occ Iron Lab b Chester
Residing at 57, Broster Street, Manchester.

Possible marriage of an Elizabeth to William BOOTH,
14 Nov 1820 Wyberton,Lincoln
William BOOTH
Elizabeth LISTER
-
Thanks Daisy.
I have a hunch that that marriage between William Booth & Elizabeth Lister is the right one.
Their 4 children were born 1824, 1826, 1828 & 1830.
Hopefully this summer I'll get Robert or Crispin's birth certificate and find out Elizabeth's maiden name.
