Hi Sunflower,
My 5x G grandfather was from South Normanton (though I can't yet find a baptism, his marriage was in 1764 in North Wingfield)
This would probably place a birth around 1740..
Do you have any Swain MI's from this era in your records? They might help me to pull together a picture of family members at the time..
I know this is a long shot, but I'm getting to the point where anything might help.
Regards
Martin

Hi Martin
There are a few Swain's in the SN MI's but I'm afraid they are all recent ones. The oldest being 1945.
I take it you are talking about Benjamin Swain?

Hi Carol,
Many thanks for checking. It was always a long shot.
Yes I'm after Benjamin.
Thank you again, and best wishes,

Hi Carol.
Do you have any Stanhopes in your MI records please?
My grandmothers family were from Belper, and some moved to Derby area.
Thank You

Hi
Does there happen to be a MI for Ann Elliott buried 29 Jan 1804?
Thank you.

Hi Dave
She was buried at Pinxton and the entry states she was a single woman.

Hello Sunflower,
could you look to see if there are any Wests there please?
some born there around 1830/40 but any names may help to tie them together.
Thanks
