I wonder if anyone can help with the immigration of James Dobbins? He was born in Jamaica and came to the UK before 1910. I understand that he landed in Liverpool and was certainly in Scotland by 1910.

Ancestry has some of the incoming passenger lists; if you're not a subscriber some libraries and archives have access. You may find the National Archives guide for immigration of interest,as it lists various sources:
