Title: Look-Up for 1881 Census

  Could anyone help me with this look-up please  :)

Robert Taylor, born about 1874. He was born in Alloa, Clackmannan...
Jane or Jeanne Dodds, born about 1875, Clackmannan

Moving this to the Scotland board - I presume that's where they probably were?

Have you any other details that may help - parents' names or siblings?  Neither of them shows up using just the inofrmation you have given at present.  ???

there are 3 robert taylors born 1874+/- 3years in alloa, clackmannan. 1871, 1875 & 1877. - i am posting the 1875 match as it is closest in age to yours.

there are no jeanne dodds, but there are 2 possible jane dodds, (one jane, one janet) although they either dont match 1875+/- 3yrs, or werent born in clackmannan.  ???

     I have no clue if Robert Taylor had any siblings. From what my grandmother told me, he does. He doesn't have any middle initial. The reason why I know this is from the commonwealth war graves. All I have is his date of death, but that is when he went overseas to fight in World War One. All I got is an estimate on his birth date from around the age of his children.
     My grandmother said that he could have been named after his father, but no for sure.
    On Jane Dodds I'm stuck at a dead end, because no one in the family knows too much about her. So I will leave Jane for now. The reason why I say this is because, we are no sure if she was born in Alloa or not.
