Hi Everyone I'm trying to find Plank Lane Abram. Have this family there on 1891 census & some are buried & say abode Plank Lane Abram in
Abram St John the Evangelist Parish Church : Warrington Road, Abram, Lancashire, WN2 5QH.
However I can only find Plank Lane Leigh area. Can someone please find this family on the census & tell me the streets near them.

put in Dennies
4 records - first 2 state abode as Plank Lane
the last 2 state 218 Plank Lane as the abode...so probably the 4 were 218 Plank Lane
sadly George Godfrey Dennies age 16 is buried 5th July 1893...one of those on your list

I think you will find the Leigh addresses were on the colliery (east) side of the canal, and the Abram side was (West) of the canal towards A580 and Warrington. As a reference point 138 Plank Lane was at the intersection with Horrocks Street. You can see this junction on Google Maps. Paul
