Seeking information on the parents and siblings of Jane Webster,
born 1878, -daughter of William Webster. St Helen's Lancashire.
Married John S. Yates, Salford Lancashire England 1907.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi the only one I could locate b St Helens father William, was this 1881:-

Census ref RG11/3735/130/30

What was her fathers occupation on marriage cert?

Are they Catholic


as they were married Salford register office or registrar attended 1907


and is he John Sephton Yates son of William Yates station master and his wife Elizabeth
Farnworth,St Wilfrid,Prescot 25th of November 1877

Think  John Sephton Yates, was single occ Butcher in later census returns?

If you are certain this was the year of marriage in 1907 Salford, then:-

Yes..Jane married John Storrie Yates b 1882 Manchester in Salford Registry 1907,( I have information about the Yates family)
and the Marriage Cert. shows Wm Webster was formerly a glass blower. I had seen the 1881 Census but wasn't certain it was the correct family. New information I have and the 1891 Census confirms more names for me.
The birthplaces of the parents seem questionable.
Is there any way I can check the Mother's and Father's Birthplace? as family information mention there is an Irish connection.

I have done a bit more checking...maybe the family lore was incorrect.
I can only seem to find the birthplace of William and Margaret as St Helen's
Lancashire.
