Hi Everyone,
I have just been given this photograph of my Grandfather after the death of my uncle, it's the first time I've ever seen it, and I'm nearly 60!. It would be wonderful if someone could restore it for me, maybe even possibly colour it. (very brown eyes)
Thanks in advance, Rizzo.
P.S My thanks to Gadget for re-sizing it for me.
-
I have noticed that other peoples photos for restoration on here seem to be posted full size, do I need to do something about making this one bigger??...Rizzo
-
Hi Rizzo,
There's a resizing tutorial here which might help: http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,372537.0.html
You can post up to 500kb per image - yours is only 5kb!
Cheers

Thanks for your reply Prue,
I did try to post this photo a couple of days ago but it was too big then!.I had an offer a while ago from Gadget to resize another picture so I sent it to him, he said this would be OK, maybe he forgot to tell me I had to do something to it first. So I've gone from too big to too small?. So I'll try again.
Regards Rizzo.

Well here's my second attempt...and I suppose it'll be the second of many!
-
I've suprised myself, it looks like I've got it right...or am I speaking too soon?

Hi Rizzo,
Looks OK to me! Well done :D
(P.S. Gadget's a gal ;) )

That's a nice thing to say Carol, My Grandad risked his life for one year and eighty four days in France, according to his service record I got from Kew. He was lucky enough to come home and live until 1963.Thanks again, Regards,Rizzo
