I have a record  from late 1700's that has place of birth Wombridge Shropshire and place of death is listed as the bank. Would this be referring to Ketley bank? or other?

Hi,

Could possibly be 'Coal Pit Bank', which was in Wombridge.

There was a big Wesleyan Methodist Chapel there which is listed in Hugh Wallis' index; might be worth a look.

in the Telford area Dawley Bank was/is known as "the bank" or more accurately "the bonk" .
