Any info regarding my Great Grandparents who lived in Hasse Road and worked in
Dolver Drove would be appreciated.
I believe they lived at Studfield Farm but not sure.
-
did they have any first names?
what decade(s) are you referring to.
Pauline

Isaac Palmer
Harriet Palmer
My Grandmother Rosetta Palmer, she was born in 1902 so they were living there then.

Have you looked for them in 1911, where you'll find them and 5 children living in Soham. The index is available free at http://www.1911census.co.uk/ but you need to buy credits, minimum £6-95, to view the entry
The address that Isaac signed from was Dolver Drove, Soham. Hasse Rd was the next entry and Studfield Farm was the previous entry

Using www.freebmd.org.uk you'll find their marriage in the Dec quarter 1902 in Newmarket registration district.
Your thread at http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,477418.msg3365634.html#msg3365634 provided a lot of information about them

I know a Palmer who lives in Hasse Road. If I see him, I'll ask for the name of his grandfather. His father is still alive, well into his 90s.

Thanks for the reply!

Hi
Just discovered this site.
My Great grandfather James (1866-1939) was brother to Isaac Palmer out of Soham. Palmers seem to be key residents of the Fen in Soham and I would love to know the complete extended family there.
I have a good tree in Ancestry but welcome further contact.
