 Jane jones b 1859 betws yn rhos -father Evan, mother ?????? Evan re married 1866 to susannah Vaughan,who was Evans 1st wife.

Not been on this site for quite a while so just seen your message regarding Jane Jones born 1859 in Betws yn Rhos.  I have a grt grandmother on my father's side who was a Jane Jones born c1859 form Betws yn Rhos. This information I got from the censuses.  According to her marriage certificate her father was an Evan Jones. She married a Robert Williams.
I have had great difficulty in finding any information regarding her birth etc, just wondering if your Jane is the same person as mine?

My Jane Jones, married Robert MORRIS   15 may 1880, in Llandudno,her father also Evan, mother Catherine. Have this info from copy of marriage cert, so looks unlikely match.

Thanks for the information, back to the drawing board again I'm afraid. At least I can eliminate the Jane Jones on the 1861 census from Betws.
