Hoping someone will be able to help!
In the 1930's my Grandmother worked for the Lady magazine, at 39 Bedford St. While she worked there, she was photographed and appeared on a magazine cover of a publication that had the next door offices.
I believe this was in the mid 1930's. I don't know the name of the publication, and was hoping someone could look in a street directory for me, or have some suggestions about other ways I might find out what it was.
Thanks
Julie

The Lady has a very good website and their phone number is 0207 379 4717 give them a call, they will probably have an archivist/historian as this is such a long standing magazine. ;)
