I am trying to find a marriage for Isabella Shaw. I believe she married a man, surname, Norris in Uphall, West Lothian around 1935.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Regards, Nicola

Found this.....
William Nichola Norris/Isabella Shaw marriage 1937 Uphall West Lothian
This certificate will not be viewable online until next year

I should also add that Uphall is in West Lothian, not Fife.

Hi Nicola
William Nicholas Norris is buried in Uphall Cemetery Lair No. Z 74. He died 30/12/1952 aged 80. Address at the time of death was 52 Crossgreen Drive Uphall.
In the same lair are Annie Norris of 5 Holmes Rows Uphall. She died 5/8/1939 aged 29.
Also Alexander K. Norris of 5 Holmes Rows Uphall. He died 1/3/1940 aged 25.
These death certificates should be able to be found on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk
As the death certificates are outwith the 50 year closure period and the birth certificates mentioned by heedrapper in the above post are outwith the 100 year closure period, you will be able to view them and print them off.

Hi Nicola
You should read http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,562668.0.html
This will show you how to utilise Scotlandspeople to your best advantage.
30 credits will cost £7.00 and should give you 5 certificates.............if you use them wisely.

Isabella was the illegitimate daughter of Jane Shaw. Jane Shaw died a few days after Isabella was born. Jane was the daughter of William and Jane Shaw.
