Hello, can anyone help with these requests.
I am trying to locate the date of marriage of Patrick McLaughlin and Catherine (Cassie) Simpson. I believe that the wedding took place at Ramoan Church of Ireland, Ballycastle.
The 1901 census shows that they lived in 34 Mill Street Ballycastle, so that would indicate that the marriage was pre 1901.
In addition, I am trying to locate the names of their children (and dates of birth if possible). The 1911 cenus shows the names for two:
William Kerr (my grandad)
John Rodgers (stepson)
but I believe that there are at least three more children born before 1915 - (Patrick was killed in france in 1914 (27/10/1914) and catherine died some months later in 1915, no exact date but again believed buried in Ramoan Church.
The reason I believe that there was five children in total was that a local historian has written a book called "Ballycastle Heroes", which lists the fallen from the first world War. This book states that Patrick was father to five children.
I hope its ok to ask for all this information. Thank you indvance

Hi,
15 Oct 1903 Daniel Rodgers married Catherine Simpson in Ballintoy Church of Ireland, Ballycastle.
22 Apr 1909 Patrick McLaughlin married Catherine Rodgers in Ramoan Church of Ireland, Ballycastle.
I think that you have confused the 1901 and 1911 census.

Just to clear up another bit of confusion here-
"census shows that they lived in 34 Mill Street Ballycastle"
34 is the number on the form for the 1911 census but not the street address- the additional page 2 shows there was no street number:

Thank you for the update re the census.
Does anyone have a suggestion for attempting to track down the three children of Patrick and Catherine that i cant account for.
They dont appear on the census, I dont know their names or dates of birth.
They only clues that i have are that they were all born between 1911 and no later than April 1915 as Catherine died then.
Catherine and Patrick married in Ramoan Church of Ireland, Ballycastle and i think Catherine was buried there to.
I think I might have to get Colombo on the case ;D

If you know the church where the children were baptised you could try contacting them to see about baptismal details (which might, at that period, list birthdate as well as date of baptism).
