I am looking for any information of Pauline Drew/nee Davis. I know she was born in Coventry 8th September 1938, that she was married in 1960 and also that she committed susicide from drowning 2nd September1980. She died in Walsgrave Hospital Coventry.She was a teacher and lived 7 Hardwick close Mount Rod Coventry.
She devorced at some stage and it is the dates of this event I am trying to find.Is there any whey someone can help please.

Divorces can be searched here: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/looking-for-person/divorce.htm.
But no case files will exists, as they are destroyed after 20 years.

A search for Pauline Drew and Pauline Davis drew a blank.

hello thank you for that, I am not really surprised the search drew a blank.there is a great deal of the unknown with this family

Hi,

Although the divorce file will be destroyed there will still be a copy of the Decree Absolute;  I think a search costs £60; follow the link in KGarrad's post.  The National Archives holds divorce records up to 1938.
