I'm seeking help again please.
Looking for Joseph Victor Sartorelli, born Sydney in 1908. Father Ernest Victor Sartorelli and mother is Annita.
If I can find what became of him, I might be able to track down family who know what became of his grandmother,
Antoniette Del Lungo whom I posted about recently here: http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,591544.0.html
I can't find a marriage or death for Joseph and nothing after his name on a 1943 NSW Electoral Roll when he lived in
Marrickville. Have tried all the variations of his surname I can think of but have drawn a blank.
Appreciate if anyone can shed any light on what became of him.
Many thanks,
Phil

Hi Phil,
Have you considered the possibilty he never married (can Happen) and that he died after 1981. After 1981 the records for DC's are unavailable!
Have you any sort of information on what he did for a living, could he have moved interstate and have you searched TROVE for any mentions of his name?
Cheers Neil :)

Is he mentioned on his parents death certificates - 1954 & 1959?

Hi again, Although I cannot see one (marriage) could he have changed his name to Sartor. Quite a few did during the War WW2.
Have a look at those and see if any seem familiar.

- here is his mother's death notice. Lists three children (he is presumably "Vic") and a granddaughter.
Since the two girls (who can be seen on bmd) both married, it's probable the granddaughter mentioned is one of theirs.
Eleanor/Elena J/Jackamina/Jackomina was b. 1906, married in 1928 Kenneth Charles Bowker, was divorced 1930/1, and in 1938 remarried Ronald Andrew Jakes Case, passed away as Elena Maria Case in 1964.
Esther/M aka Esther Annita was b. 1910, married 1946 to Lyle Ernest Gordon Le Sueur. Ryerson index shows she passed away in 1993. Her death notice would probably be a good place to start if you want to find living relatives.

Hi Neil and everyone,
Thanks for looking - I did consider that he may not have married and have checked all states BDM for him under all the variations
of his surname I can think of, but will recheck.
I did him a mention of him on Trove (exam results for a cabinetmaking course).
Cheers

Thank you,
I've searched Trove many times for "sartorelli" and her death notice hasn't been in the results for me, but when I just searched "Annita" it appears.
Strange. And it is listed as Sartorelli, Annita.
I did know about the daughters and will try to find living family there.
Cheers
