Title: WW1 Bantam Regiment
Post by: hops on Monday 16 April 12 09:43 BST (UK)
:( My uncle Walter Charles Maskell born 1900 at 25 Laurel Road Brighton. Apparently was too short for the regular army, so he enrolled at Chadderton, Oldham into the Lancashire Fusiliers a Bantam Regiment in 1915. I  have found information on  Bantam Regiments on pathe but, can't seem to find any military info re his service, possibly killed in action as he never returned to Brighton . Can any one point me in the right direction.
