HI, My great grandfather John William Bennett was born at Cheapside
Ambleside on the 30th May 1865. He belonged to a family of carriers.
When my great grandma died in childbirth he married another lady
Kate Reynolds in 1901. I understand his second marriage was not a happy one and he travelled about quite a bit with the carrier business.
I found Kate Bennett(nee Reynolds) on the 1911 at Aston with her
daughter Lucy Kate Bennett but have searched and searched on 1911 census and cant find John William.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is perfectly alright for someone to mention details that they found on 1911 census when posting a query but not alright for another member to provide 1911 census details that are not found in free searches.
Bashfuljampot, there are plenty of suggestions and advice on this thread:

Remember if you are using Ancestry, the complete census is not yet online. FindMyPast, GR and the official 1911 site do have the complete census for England & Wales.

My reply was really explaining to Tinam why she was not probably allowed to post 1911 census details.
Hopefully the search hints will help you find John William Bennett in 1911.
