Hi
I am looking for the children of Isaac and Hannah Hill born in Rowley Regis, so presumably christened there too.
Isaac and Hannah were married in 1823 in Rowley Regis and in the 1841 census had 15 year old Thomas with them (born 1825/26). It seems unlikely that he was their only child, so I would be grateful if someone could check the registers and see if any others were mentioned.
Thank you
Judy :)

Dear Judy,
Not good news I'm afraid.I checked the baptisms at the parish church of St Giles from 1823-1835 and no children baptised at all.I also had a look for non-conformist chapels in the area and noe start before the 1860's The archist suggested that if they lived in the direction of Cradley in Rowley Regis their records might be over the border in Dudley Worcestershire Record Office.
I know that's not much help. There are entries on Familysearch for possible siblings marring in the area with a father listed as Isaac Hill which you may want to have a look at.
I did check their marriage as well.they where both if this parish spinster and bachelor.Witnesses Richard Gaunt and James cockin.(Richard was a proffesional witness for the parish).
Sorry not much help

Hi Ciderdrinker
Thank you so much for looking in the records for me. Maybe the parents just didn't take their children to be christened!
Thanks for the hint about the marriages on Familysearch. I'll look into them.
Thanks again
Judy :)
