I am trying to obtain information re William Wraight b about 1716 d Nov 1792 at Blean Kent, England my 5th Great Grandfather, he was married to Hannah Goodwin also off Blean and had the following children. Mary 1751-1789 or 1837, Hannah 1754-1837, William 1755-1844, James 1759-1853 (my 4th Great Grandfather) and Thomas 1762-1849, he had two more children with his 2nd wife Christian Haywood, both who died at birth, Sarah 1782 and Robert 1784. I am looking for any information concerning him or his wife(s) in particular information re his parents.

William Wraight is my 7 x GG. Have had a little trouble narrowing down his parentage. Keeps coming back to being either a Thomas or a James. Both listed as being married to an Elizabeth (surname unknown). Thomas comes with the dates Birth 1696 in Kent, England and Death 1722 in Kent, England whereas James comes with neither at the moment so I'm erring on the side of it being Thomas.

May I suggest you look at alternative spellings for the name, Raite, Wraite, etc.    There is an excellent family tree site in the name of Goldsack who have the Wraight name aswell.
