Hi everyone, I have recently bought the marriage certificate between Paul Antoine Pfisterer and Isabella Railton. Paul was from switzerland. Its known in the family and the 1911 census said so.
On the marriage certificate, his father is down as "Frederic Pfisterer" who is deceased by 1907 (their marriage). I was wondering if anyone can do a lookup for Paul Antoine pfisterer born in switzerland circa 1885 with the fathers name of Frederic Pfisterer or Jean Frederic Pfisterer? Or maybe a marriage for his father? In the family, we think Pauls mothers name might have been Anna Frey but not 100%
Thank you!
PS. he spoke french a lot

Just linking in the other thread so people can see what's been found already:

At the marriage, what was the address of Paul and who were the witnesses? He may have had other relatives in the UK.

his address was Belvedere Rd, Westminster Bridge Road, London, UK
The witnesses were R.Casella and L. Casella
His fathers occupation when he was alive was Bootmaker

I would imagine the witnesses are Raffaele Casella (Italian) and his wife Leonie Marie nee Haemer (from Belgium) who would have also been in Lambeth about that time. No obvious family connection - maybe they attended the same church?

If (as seems possible) Paul-Antoine's father was the Jean-Frédéric Pfisterer born in Cornaux in 1831, I'll see if I can find his marriage and PA's birth next time I'm at Neuchâtel archives, but that probably won't be until the school summer holidays. :(

Just done a search on GeneaNet and found a birth announcement for Paul-Antoine which I'd not come across before:
