Thats a help, :) as you say need someone with access to the parish records.

Great and Little Bourton both came under Cropredy at that time as far as PRs are concerned.
Possibly relevant marriages at Cropredy:
Joseph ADKINS (of Gt Bourton) and Elizabeth HUNT - 7 April 1789
William ADKINS (of G B) and Elizabeth TIMS (of G B) - 22 Feb 1776 From OxFHS Marriage Index
Hope this helps,
Carol

Hi I finally saw your message. I have quite a lot of information on these Adkins as my Grandmother was Maud Adkins. Tell me what you are looking for. I have photos of my Grandparents and great grandparents. I hope I haven't missed you altogether

I have some information on the Adkins as my grandmother was Maud Adkins and was a descendant of these Adkins from Bourton. My great grandparents Adkins lived in Stokenchurch in Bucks and were both teachers at the local school.I have a letter about the Adkins of Bourton which I will try and find.
