It certainly looks to be the parents marriage, thanks a lot.
My tree leads me back to Samuel Chapman born abt 1737, don't know month, married 1766 in the village of East Bradenham Norfolk.
Banns say of this village, but there is no trace of him prior to the Banns, I asked at Norwich records office ,the assistant said he would only need to be in the village for a fortnight, to be classed as of this village.
She suggested looking at nearby village records
Samuel Chapman Lakenheath was bapt 1738. this could be born abt 1737.
Lakenheath I believe is about 18 miles from Bradenham

Family names are passed down.
SAMUEL/ALCE Chapman baptised All Saints, Lakenheath;
JOHN, 19 Jan 1733/34
THOMAS, 16 Nov 1735
SAMUEL, 14 Aug 1738 (you have)
JAMES, 5 Oct 1741
ALCE, 11 Marc 1743/44
ANN, 6 April 1747
(FreeREG)
1733 Marriage has her as Alce also on FreeREG
Samuel/Diana-Dinah Baptise Suffolk;
SARAH, 13 Sept 1767
FRANCES, 15 Mach 1772
ELIZABETH, 20 Nov 1774
JOHN, 9 March 1777
JOHN, 28 April 1779
SAMUEL, 5 May 1782
WILLIAM, 20 March 1785 (Mother nee James)
(FreeREG)
Big gap between Sarah/Frances.
Unless you have a Alice baptised to Samuel/Dinah I would personally not be sure the Suffolk Samuel is yours.
That is just my personal opinion.

I agree with Trish, thats same info i found. I did look through the death registers and do not find any Alice or Samuel Chapman buried in Lakenheath.
