Hi,
Could someone get me the Manchester pals battalions record for a 'J.Reid' (James)
These have been recently published and I am unable to get them myself
If anyone can help, please send me a message :)
Thank you
J.Fraser

I believe these to be on Find my Past. Their terms and conditions do not allow look ups. Perhaps your library service has access or it might be worth paying for a few credits.

There is not a lot of information in this data set. I have the CD of Manchester Battalions which came free a few years ago with WDYTYA magazine.
The only J. REID is Pte. 19981 21Bn. E Co. Plat. 19. then a group photo. There is a J.A. REID also. No other information given besides a name.

Try contacting directly The Manchester Regiment Forum on the internet - A very knowledgable bunch of decent persons.
