Does anyone have access to the West Wratting or Hildersham PRs? I would be interested to know if there are any events for the REYNOLDS family between about 1905 and 1915. The parents were Thomas Frederick (usually known as Tom) and Alice REYNOLDS. They lived at Valley Farm, which is in West Wratting parish but closer to Hildersham village. Tom and Alice were my great-grandparents.
Thank you
Simon

Hi see hopefully that the marriage was Thomas Frederick Reynolds to Alice Mary B Anable in Dec 1903 Chesterton, then utilizing Freebmd I can see in June qtr 1914 Linton 3b 840 a Lydia F Reynolds with mothers maiden name Anable, a few credits on a search of the 1911 census will surely pick up others from 1903/4 for you.

Thanks for the input.
I know the family well, and know them well at 1911. The marriage was at Dry Drayton, and Lydia was baptised at Dry Drayton. The Dry Drayton registers say she was born at Hildersham. But was she born at Valley Farm, where the family were living in 1911, or had they moved to Hildersham? She had several brothers and sisters, and I am hoping the registers might indicate if the family lived at Valley Farm throughout the 1905-1915 period, or if there were two addresses, Valley Farm and one in Hildersham.
Prior to 1905, the family were in Dry Drayton, where my grandmother was born. In 1915 they moved into the city of Cambridge.

Sorry to be a pain, but at this stage I really am only interested in REYNOLDS events 1905-1915 in the West Wratting or Hildersham PRs. Most other ground is already covered.

No Reynolds entries in Hildersham P.R.'s for that period.
Just a few long before that.

Excellent - that tells me much of what I need to know! I think this is a case where my great-grandparents gave the name of the nearest village, even though they were actually in a different parish.
I must say I feel a slight tinge of disappointment, as I was in Hildersham church last Saturday and it really is rather lovely :-)
