I would like to confirm the parents and siblings of Joseph John Sparrow. Have searched the census 1871 to find the information given. Would I need to look at parish records or just buy a birth certificate using census information?

Parish information will not give a mother's maiden name if there are any doubts about which woman his father wed (assuming his mum wasn't a single parent)

Do you know if he married and whom.
There is a Joseph John SPARROW marriage at Stepney St Philip, on 25 Sep 1892 to a Clara Isabella HILLS. He was 23, so birth c1868-69, and his father was Joseph John SPARROW. In 1901 he was 33 and birthplace given as St Lukes, which came under the Holborn RD at one stage.
