There is a death record for Phillip Jones 1st Qtr 1851 in Llanelly Carmarthenshire(the appropriate Registration District for Llangendeirne),
ref. Vol 26 page 503,which could be relevant.
Is there anything specific you are looking for?

Many thks for your reply Roger...
This info would fit with what I have or dont have ..
I am trying to peace together Phillips family..
Would you beleive my ggggrandfather and gggrandfathers ( I think there are enough 'gg's) were all called David Davies, the first one having married Ann Jones, daughter of Phillip.. .. its complicated and messy, but I am SLOWLY getting it together, so if I could find a few more facts about Phillip and his family, it may help.
I am finding the search for this family an interesting and a challenge, one I hope I will succeed in.. hmmmmmmm
Cheers
Karen
As I said in my fist email , I beleive thefamily go to Merthyr Tyfil

There is an entry in www.familysearch.org for Phillip John born 1803 in Llangendeirne which I suspect is him. This means he is Phillip son of John, which later became Phillip Jones. Before this you are probably into patronymic naming.
There are also probable entries for banns and marriage in FindMyPast's parish registers but their T & Cs don't allow quotation.
