Hi,

Trying to locate parents/siblings of Sarah Partington, b 1791 Birmingham.

In 1821 she married John Potter at Manchester Cathedral. I believe that she died in 1865 at Birmingham.

Would like to be able to find out more about the Partington family. Thankyou.

familysearch.org has a christening of a Sarah Partington at St  Mary Warwick, Warwickshire on 1 January 1796  Father - William Partington, Mother - Bridget

There is also a baptism of a William Barker Partington to the same parents at the same place 11 July 1797

Birmingham is about 22 miles from Warwick.

Thankyou. I have also found a marriage of William Partington to Bridget Hawkes on 9 Aug 1795 St Mary Warwick. Maybe the birth date I had was incorrect? I would be pleased to know any further details, if possible, of William and Bridget Partington and their son William Barker Partington. Thankyou.

Just discovered this Chat.

I am descended from John Potter & Sarah Partington, via James Potter and Mary Dunn, parents of James John Potter, father of Llewellyn Claude Arthur Potter, my grandfather on my mother's side.

James and Mary and all after them lived and died in New Zealand.

I live in Auckland.
