you didn't mention date - more than one school on the street in 1921 :

Dominick Street Lwr.
20 St. Mary's parochial School, A. Maguire teacher
43 National School, Miss J. B. Lawson teacher

There's also a Dominick Upper, but no schools listed for that street in 1921.

James Logan was superintendant of the Dominick Street School in Dublin from 1879 until the early 1900s.  It was connected to the Ormond Quay Presbyterian Church in which he was an elder.  Jane Logan, his wife, also taught in this school.

I believe it was called Our Lady Of The Rosary school.
I would imagine the Holy Faith sisters might have more info.
Worth an email anyway holyfaitharchives@gmail.com

Thank you.  I believe that is a different school.  My James Logan was a committed presbyterian!

From Thom's Directory 1884, 43 Dominick Street Lower, National School - Jas. Logan teacher

James Logan took over as superintendent of the Dominick Street National School in 1879.  He lived there with his family until at least 1898 as his daughter, Lizzie, died in the family home (43 Dominick Street) on 11.4.1898.  Thus James was superintendent of the Dominick Street School for about 20 years. By the 1901 census, the family had moved to Ranelagh Road.  James is listed separately as a boarder in a house in Dundalk on census day.  It's not clear if that was a short stop on a journey or if he was based there teaching for a short time.  In the early 1900s, James gave up teaching and was appointed a receiver in the bankruptcy court of Dublin.  By 1911, the family had moved to Skerries, near one of their daughters, and in 1914, James and Jane Logan moved back to Northern Ireland where they died in 1924 and 1929 respectively.  I attach photographs of James and Jane Logan, my great, great grandparents.
