Good morning root chatters,

Can someone please decipher my 3rd great grandmothers occupation?
This is from the 1871 England Census.

Annuitant. She received an Annuity from somewhere.

Annuitant.  So maybe receiving a small payment or pension. Not a great deal of money as she would then be more likely to be described as "of independant means."

Agree that it's Annuitant but it's  strange as she was the wife of an agricultural labourer in 1841, 1851 and  1861 and she was  a 'Labourer W' in 1881  - a very small annuity :-\
