Title: Famine Orphans
Post by: Dee3 on Wednesday 14 March 12 04:02 GMT (UK)
Can anyone advise us as to the best place to research records whilst in Ireland.  We will be visiting later this year and have some information about Jane & Catherine Perkison who rrived in Australia on the Pemberton May 1849 but would like to gather further information if possible.  Are there records and if so where would they be held. They originated from Nenagh & Roscrea according to the ship records,  we are not sure how they are rellated if at all.
thanks Dee
