Title: St Ann & St Mary Manchester
Post by: Pathway on Tuesday 13 March 12 15:14 GMT (UK)
I have just seen a marriage 1874 at St Ann & St Mary listed on LancsBMD. Would this be St Ann's, St Ann's Square?

Hi,

Yes it is the same.  When St. Marys the Parsonage closed in 1890 a new parish was formed with St, Ann`s and became St Ann and St. Mary.

Have you tried family search for the marriage as the image may be available if the marriage was at St. Mary`s.

Pathway - it is the combination of St Ann's (St Ann's Square) and St Mary (Parsonage).

Some of St Mary's registers are on the new version of FamilySeach as images, including marriages for your date:
